These dudes treated my sister like crap when she went in to get rocks, laughed at her, berated her for for not knowing their parking procedures, and proceeded to waste her time mansplaining bullshit she never went in for. We did get rocks, we won’t be back.

I would like to start this review out by acknowledging Christine Brown, the Landscaping Supply Manager at Across the Pond. She is very knowledgeable of her job and the customer satisfaction that she provides to all customers is top notch. My wife Kim and I have been working on the design of our backyard. We at first thought Across the Pond was for the contractors, where they got their supplies to do their jobs. We went to Across the Pond about a year ago, because we were looking for Mexican Beach pebble. Christine told us that it was not just for the contractor, but for the normal everyday people as well. We didn’t need a full pallet of the rock and she pointed out that we could actually go out with bags purchased from the site and hand pick the rocks that we wanted. Instead of us loading the bags ourselves, the gentlemen that drove the forklifts, would pick up the bags for, weigh them, and help us load the rock into our vehicle. Even though these guys are working their tails off in the yard, they as well showed great support in helping us. Shopped here for years and have spent thousands. They have apparently been bought by SiteOne landscaping about 3 years ago. Pricing is different and when I brought up rudeness from one employee I was met with rudeness from a second. I still need landscaping supplies, but that's enough to maybe break them of being my go to for years. Definitely different now.

Great inventory, kind and knowledgeable staff who are helpful, but they are not permitted to lift loose, heavy stone items for you, unless it’s a pallet they can lift with a forklift. They claim to be short handed. So bring help, or be prepared, even if you are a senior citizen, to lift and load heavy items yourself. This policy determined which stones I chose, and I then loaded nearly 250 lbs. of flagstone into my vehicle while a worker looked on, and some pieces I could barely move or lift. He was not permitted to help me and I think this embarrassed the gentleman.
